About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a talented and committed class teacher to join our team. Whilst we are particularly interested in applications from teachers with a passion for Early Years, we welcome applications from talented practitioners across the primary age range who share our commitment to high expectations, inclusion and ensuring every child succeeds. We are looking for a teacher with a genuine passion for early learning and securing strong foundations for all children. You will be committed to creating an engaging, language-rich environment where children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
As a class teacher at Mapperley Plains, you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching that enables all children to achieve well
- Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and support progress
- Provide an inclusive classroom where all children, including those with SEND and disadvantaged pupils, are supported to succeed
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, refine and develop practice
