Accountant in Kings Hill

Accountant – Kent Area

Mapped Recruitment is partnering with a premium manufacturing and marketplace retailer on their search for an Accountant to join their team. The role is a fixed‑term contract‑to‑permanent or permanent position.

If candidates are immediately available/on short notice to start a new role in early December, this will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Financial Controller, working in a small team
• Responsible for balance sheet accounts – balance sheet & stock reconciliations
• Assist with preparing additional information schedules required as part of the Group reporting, e.g., sales analysis, intercompany reconciliation
• Monthly and annual financial reporting in compliance with group and statutory requirements
• Monthly UK VAT returns
• Liaise with external and internal auditors and support with the Year‑End processes

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar finance role
• Part‑qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
• Experience using various ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)

Please note this role is based onsite in the Kent area, with a minimum of 4 days on site.
