Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a client whom we have worked with before to find them a Senior Accountant to join their team on a fixed-term contract. This is an opportunity to work with a fantastic Financial Controller supporting all day-to-day accounting duties for the businesses (comprising of manufacturing, retail and hospitality/events revenue streams).
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Financial Controller
- Prepare monthly management accounts - accruals, prepayments, journal posting
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, Fixed Assets Revenue reconciliations
- Ad Hoc Analysis
- Assist with external audits
- Support with project work over the contract period - working to improve processes and driving efficiency
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5+ years of professional accounting experience in a similar accountant role, ideally with full ownership of management accounts - strong understanding of deferred income & fixed assets
- Sage Line 200 experience will be advantageous, but not essential
- Strong Excel Skills
- Manufacturing/Retail/Hospitality/Events (multi-stream) industry experience will be beneficial
Start Date: Ideal start would be May 2026 (potential to wait a short notice period)
End Date: April 2027
Location: Mayfair (2 days a week), Reading (1 day a week) - Flexibility for the right candidate once settled into the role
All successful candidates must have full working rights for the UK for the length of this contract.
