Maplewood Independent Living is looking for compassionate and reliable Live in Carers to join our growing team, supporting clients in their own homes across Essex and Suffolk. Currently, we are only able to consider applications from individuals who already have the legal right to work in the UK.

Your Role
- Build meaningful relationships by getting to know the people you care for.
- Support clients to live independently in their own homes.
- Accompany clients to social activities and help maintain their usual routines.
- Assist with daily household tasks, including meal preparation and cooking.
- Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
- Support with medication in line with care plans.
- Maintain clear and accurate records.
- Promote the health, safety and wellbeing of clients and yourself.
- Keep regular, professional communication with the branch manager.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Live in Care role is preferred, however, experience in an hourly care role will also be considered.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (with business insurance).
- Right to work in the UK (please note: this role is not suitable for part-time work due to the hours required).
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
- Reliable, professional, and caring attitude.
- Respect for client dignity, independence, and confidentiality.
- Ability to deliver the highest standards of care and support.
- Comfortable using a smartphone, with willingness to learn how to use our app for recording care notes (training provided).
