Maplewood Independent Living is looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants / Support Workers to join our growing team, supporting clients in their own homes across Halstead, Sible Hedingham, Steeple Bumpstead, Great Yeldham, Braintree, and surrounding areas. We aim to keep your work within a convenient local area.

Full time & Part time Opportunities Available. Currently, we are only able to consider applications from individuals who already have the legal right to work in the UK.

Your Role

  • Support clients to live independently in their own homes.
  • Assist with personal care and medication where required.
  • Help with daily household tasks, including meal preparation.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and shopping trips.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of clients at all times.
  • Communicate regularly with the branch manager.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (with business insurance).
  • Right to work in the UK (required).
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Reliable, professional, and caring attitude.
  • Respect for client dignity, independence, and confidentiality.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone, with willingness to learn how to use our app for recording care notes (training provided).
