Overview
Care Support Worker role at Maplewood Independent Living in the Suffolk area. Driving with business insurance is required.
Responsibilities
- Support clients to live as independently as possible in their own homes
- Accompany them to shopping and appointments
- Assist with daily tasks in the home, including meal preparation
- Assist with personal care
- Assist with medication
- Maintain clear and accurate records
- Ensure health, safety and well-being of service users and yourself
- Maintain regular and courteous contact with the branch manager
Requirements
- Reliable with excellent work ethic
- Provide the highest standards of care and support
- Respect the individuality and confidentiality of service users
- Respect service users’ independence and wishes, and treat them with fairness and courtesy
- Adhere to strict health and safety standards for the health, safety and welfare of service users and themselves
- Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
- Have a valid driving licence, own transport with business insurance
