Maplewood Independent Living is looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants / Support Workers to join our growing team, supporting clients in their own homes across Halstead, Sible Hedingham, Steeple Bumpstead, Great Yeldham, Braintree, and surrounding areas. Your Role
- Support clients to live independently in their own homes.
- Assist with personal care and medication where required.
- Help with daily household tasks, including meal preparation.
- Accompany clients to appointments and shopping trips.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of clients at all times.
- Communicate regularly with the branch manager.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (with business insurance).
- Right to work in the UK (required).
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
- Reliable, professional, and caring attitude.
- Respect for client dignity, independence, and confidentiality.
- Comfortable using a smartphone, with willingness to learn how to use our app for recording care notes (training provided).
