Maplewood Independent Living are looking for Carers / Support Workers in and around the Essex area to support clients in their own home.

We currently have clients in Chelmsford, Great Dunmow, Saffron Waldon, Braintree, Halstead, and surrounding areas.

You would need to be able to drive and have business insurance.

Full or part time hours available.

Currently, we are only able to consider applications from individuals who already have the legal right to work in the UK.

The Role

  • To support themto live as independently as possible.
  • To accompany them with shopping and any appointments.
  • Assist with daily tasks in the home, preparing and cooking meals.
  • Assisting with personal care.
  • Assisting with medication.
  • Maintain clear andaccuraterecords.
  • Ensure health, safety and well-being of the service users and yourself.
  • Maintain regular and courteous contact with the branch manager.

The Requirements

  • Reliable with an excellent work ethic.
  • Providethe highest standards of care and support.
  • Respect the individuality and confidentiality of the service users.
  • Respect the service users independence and authority, be mindful of their wishes and toalways treat them with fairness and courtesy.
  • Ensure and adhere to strict standards of health and safety thereby ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the service users and themselvesat all times.
  • Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Have a valid drivinglicence, owntransportwith businessinsurance.
