About Us: Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a remote Project Management Specialist for our client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various technical teams to deliver objectives and monitor, track, and report on status and metrics of each initiative, as well as coordination across Cyber and ITS teams.
  • Oversee project management aspects of the planning and implementation of initiatives under the Cyber Portfolio to meet business requirements in a secure manner.
  • Develop program/project plans, draft risk register and obtain required approvals.
  • Produce other project management related deliverables as required by the project team (governance model, implementation plan, transition approach and plan, monthly updates, etc.).
  • Ensure projects adopt an agile approach to workload management and scope.
  • Develop and maintain program/project status dashboard.
  • Report progress regularly to management and program sponsors.
  • Work with the reporting manager, project managers and project controllers within the organization to identify resource requirements.
  • Work with the project team to enable and support the initiative, including business analyst, change management, communications, etc.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to ensure understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and ensure they are met by new or enhanced cyber security operational processes.
  • Facilitate daily scrum meetings to provide guidance to the technical teams to identify and prioritize deliverables.
  • Provide project management expertise for all project activities by working with stakeholders, project team members and groups across the organization using proven project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Other activities and deliverables, as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • University Degree or College Diploma in computer science, engineering or business administration.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of information technology or cyber security.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as a Project Management Specialist in overseeing a project team for the definition and implementation of cyber security solutions in a complex environment.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of business analysis experience in IT Projects (preferable Cyber Security projects).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into application solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise documents for a technical audience.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitation and problem resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SCRUM Master Certification
  • PMP Certification
  • Demonstratable knowledge of the client's functions and core business processes
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing effective and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience with supporting Cyber technology projects or Cloud projects (Microsoft Azure) will be considered an asset (from a project management or business analyst perspective)
  • French will be considered an asset
Compensation:

Salary Range: $48.00 – $96.00 per hour
