We are seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join our team supervising classes during teacher absence and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for students. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is considering a future career in education.

You will be required to deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, manage behaviour and maintain a calm, purposeful classroom environment. Good communication skills are therefore required. Previous experience of working with children is an advantage. Applicants must have evidence of a high standard of literacy and numeracy (i.e. GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 and above).

Hours are 31.25 per week, 8.15am - 3.15pm Monday to Friday (inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break daily) term time only.

Salary: Currently £25,002.00 - £26,003.00 per annum - full time equivalent. As this position is term time only, the actual salary equates to £18,324.18 - £19,057.82 per annum. Please note that salary reviews take place each September and as such the salary range quoted above is subject to an increase at that time.

Alongside your salary, the school currently contributes 20.5% (currently £3,756.46 - £3,906.85 per annum) towards you being a member of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
