Verisk‘s Year-Long Internship Program is designed to provide you with real work experience, professional development, and networking opportunities. This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) paid internship program that spans from June 2026 to June 2027. Participation in the internship program requires that you are located near the London office, as the program is a hybrid work schedule, requiring you to be in the office at least 2 days per week.

Internship Roles We’re Looking to Fill:

Responsibilities What You Could Learn:

  • As a DA Developer intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in data and analytics, including:
  • Designing and building dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources.
  • Supporting data pipeline development and automation using tools like Python or cloud platforms.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Documenting data processes and contributing to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Exploring tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Understanding how data supports strategic decisions in the insurance industry.

Experience

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program that allows for company placements.

  • Interest in the insurance industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Basic familiarity with Excel is expected; additional technical skills (SQL, Python, BI tools) are a bonus.

The Intern Program is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. If you will require work visa sponsorship after completing your degree, you do not meet the basic requirements of the summer intern role.
