We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive team to work on either a 2:1 basis with two pupils in upper key stage two.

Contract: Part time (fixed term, attached to a child)

Hours: 15 hours a week. Mornings only, Monday‑Friday. Term time only.

Salary: Level 2B point 3‑5 (£8441 - £8943)

Start: September 2025

About Maple Tree Primary School: Maple Tree Primary school is a single form entry primary school with an onsite pre‑school, accepting children from age 2‑11. The Role: The successful candidate will be working with two pupils on a 2:1 basis, to help them access the curriculum and thrive and learn in line with their Education, Health Care Plans (EHCP). We need a classroom practitioner who will bring their experience, passion for learning and energy to our talented team. They will have the ability to assist and work under the direction of the class teachers. They will be able to support and aid the learning of pupils through clarifying and explaining instructions, ensuring the use of equipment and materials and to provide continuous encouragement and motivation.
