We are currently looking for a Junior Technical Designer to join our award-winning team.
The Role:
As part of the character gameplay team, you will be designing and implementing player, enemy, and NPC functionality. This covers features for exploration, platforming, combat, animation integration, and AI behaviour. Other tasks include general systems design, game balancing, and contributing towards the overall game creativity. You will be working directly with other designers, programmers, artists, and animators to ensure the highest quality game experience.
Qualifications:
- Industry experience as a designer is preferred but games design graduates and modders are also welcome to apply.
- Design experience on action-adventure or combat-based games.
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine.
- Scripting experience is a plus (Kismet, LUA, state machines, etc).
- High level of technical proficiency.
- Skills in programming and animation are of interest but by no means essential.
