What will your day look like?
As a Director of Solution Consulting and a key member of the Solution Consulting leadership team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our technology solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director of Solution Consulting, you’ll be a trusted advisor, guiding our clients and internal stakeholders toward significant growth by deeply understanding their complex needs and crafting tailored, cutting‑edge technology solutions. You will also share responsibilities currently held by the Senior Director, acting as a senior stakeholder who can deliver projects, present to clients, steer conversations, and handle difficult discussions.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the Solution Consulting team, align technology solutions with business objectives, and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader on marketing technology trends and best practices. Network with strategic partners.
- Solution Design & Implementation: Oversee the design and implementation of complex marketing technology solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
- New Business Development: Actively participate in new business pursuits, including leading presentations, developing proposals, and contributing to RFIs and RFPs.
- Vendor Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors (Adobe, Salesforce, Braze, etc.), staying abreast of new product developments and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
- Team Mentorship & Development: Mentor and develop junior members of the Solution Consulting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Present compelling cases and case studies at industry events.
- Serve as the go‑to technical expert on client projects, working closely with internal teams (Technology, Data, Experience, Strategy).
- Act as a translator, transforming ambitious client goals into actionable technology strategies.
- Collaborate with our growth team on pitches, RFPs, and high‑level scoping.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping your finger on the pulse of the latest marketing technologies and developing insightful points of view.

You will collaborate with experts across our global offices—technology, data, experience, and client service teams—and support all of MAP’s capabilities.
What do you bring to the table?
- Passion for marketing technology and a genuine desire to make a difference for our clients and MAP.
- Proven track record of leadership and success in a solutions consulting or related role (e.g., technical consulting or customer success management) at a senior level, with experience managing and mentoring teams.
- A strong foundation in one or more core marketing technology platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, Braze, etc.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of captivating audiences at all levels in speech, writing, and PowerPoint.
- Proven experience building strong relationships and managing diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in direct new business development and business expansion.
