What will your day look like? As an Enterprise Architect, you will be the strategic technical leader responsible for defining, evolving, and governing enterprise‑wide MarTech architecture for our clients. Support clients in defining future‑state architecture and transformation strategies. Design and orchestrate complex enterprise MarTech ecosystems involving multiple platforms, marketing clouds, vendors, integrations, and data sources. Ensure interoperability, scalability, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency across the wider technology landscape. - Data, Governance, Privacy & Security: Define enterprise‑wide data architecture strategies, governance principles, and integration standards. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA through Privacy‑by‑Design principles. Establish architectural governance frameworks, standards, and best practices. Ensure enterprise solutions maintain strong security, scalability, and data quality standards. Drive innovation initiatives and continuously evaluate emerging MarTech, AI, and cloud technologies. Identify opportunities to improve client ecosystems, operational maturity, and customer experiences through modern technology adoption. - Consultancy, Client Leadership & Business Growth: Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including CMOs, Enterprise Architects, and business leadership teams. Influence strategic decision‑making by connecting business needs with enterprise technology opportunities. Support pre‑sales, strategic consulting, innovation initiatives, and transformation programs. Partner with Account, Strategy, and Solution Consulting teams to identify growth opportunities and shape enterprise solution approaches. Balance technical excellence with commercial pragmatism to drive both client value and sustainable delivery outcomes.
- Cross‑Capability Collaboration & Technical Leadership: Operate across cross‑functional and cross‑capability teams, including Tech & Data, Experience, Strategy, Paid Media, Marketing Operations, Solution Consulting, and Account capabilities. Provide technical leadership across large‑scale and complex client engagements. Mentor and support Solutions Architects, Technical Architects, Developers, and other technical specialists. Drive alignment across global teams, portfolios, and capabilities to promote reusable enterprise patterns and best practices. Contribute to communities, guilds, knowledge‑sharing initiatives, and capability growth across VML MAP.
- Operationalisation & Continuous Improvement: Support the stabilisation, optimisation, and operationalisation of enterprise MarTech ecosystems. Ensure enterprise solutions deliver measurable business outcomes and long‑term operational success. Oversee KPIs, performance metrics, and ROI expectations across enterprise platforms. Participate in resolving complex technical and operational challenges across client ecosystems.

- 10+ years of progressive experience in technical architecture, with extensive experience operating in Enterprise Architect roles within MarTech ecosystems.
- Deep expertise across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and broader enterprise MarTech platforms such as Data Cloud, CDPs, CRM, Analytics, CMS, AdTech, and cloud ecosystems.
- Proven experience designing and governing enterprise‑wide marketing technology landscapes across multiple vendors and cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, integration patterns, API strategies, cloud solutions, scalability, reliability, and performance optimisation.
- Experience defining enterprise data architecture, governance models, and privacy‑by‑design frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience influencing business outcomes through enterprise technology strategy and consultancy.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience engaging with executive leadership and senior client stakeholders.
- Experience supporting pre‑sales, innovation initiatives, strategic consulting, and business development activities.
