We are supporting a well respected main contractor who are looking to appoint a level 2 or level 3 building regulations expert to play a key role to provide technical guidance to project teams to ensure compliance with business and building safety standards. You will enjoy a hybrid working model with time split between the office, home, and occasionally, on projects with site teams. This is an opportunity to work on a wide range of construction projects which regularly include non-standard buildings and on occasion higher risk buildings (HRBs). You will be expected to draw on your strong interpersonal skills and comprehensive technical understanding of building regulations guiding teams, ensuring compliance. Projects range from £10m - £150m+ across the following sectors: Education, Leisure, Blue Light, Commercial, Healthcare, and Residential, so no two schemes are the same!
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with our customers, stakeholders, and project teams, and effectively communicate technical solutions and recommendations in accordance with relevant building regulations.
- Facilitate role as Principal Designer and demonstrate the right competencies to be an advisor to project teams.
