Your Role and Responsibilities As a Family Therapist, you will: * Provide specialist family therapy to patients and their families, offering support for eating disorders and mental health challenges. * Lead psycho-educational and support groups to help families understand and manage complex mental health issues. * Contribute to care planning, MDT assessments, and ward rounds, ensuring that each patient receives the best care possible. * Offer outpatient therapy within our Day Care Therapy Service, helping patients as they transition through their recovery. * ️ Facilitate reflective groups to develop systemic thinking and learning among staff members. * ️ Conduct risk assessments and offer clinical expertise to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients. * Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to deliver holistic, patient-centered care. What We’re Looking For We are seeking an experienced Systemic Family Psychotherapist who has: * Experience in family and group therapy, ideally within mental health settings (inpatient or outpatient). * UKCP registration as a Systemic Family Psychotherapist and an MSc in Family Therapies. * ️ Experience in eating disorder treatment (desirable but not essential). * A collaborative approach and excellent communication skills. * Teaching and supervision experience, with a commitment to supporting the development of junior staff and colleagues.
