A PR & Event Manager with broad levels of experience is required for a busy and successful organisation. PR, Marketing, and IT skills are a must for the role.

The PR & Event Manager will be a main point of contact for clients within a wide range of sectors. The right person will have good, strong business and leadership skills, and have solid events, PR, and Marketing experience. Alternatively, the role would suit a graduate with relevant event qualifications and some practical proven PR and Marketing skills.

Duties may vary depending on experience. The PR & Event Manager will enjoy working in a busy environment with colleagues of all levels and be keen to develop further within the organisation and help the business grow.

The PR & Event Manager will coordinate a broad selection of activities, have supreme business acumen, and be an enthusiastic team player with excellent time management abilities.

The PR & Event Manager will deal with Marketing, PR, Copywriting, social media, and Online Marketing, and handle the booking of venues and registrations for a range of events. They will have a good understanding of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes.

Responsibilities include taking instruction on event requirements, producing plans for venues, managing speakers, and planning room layouts while working closely with colleagues. The PR & Event Manager will be confident using Excel, Word, Outlook, and other systems.

Additional tasks involve managing the media, printed and digital material, liaising with clients and designers to create tickets, posters, event guides, and sales brochures, and providing regular reports to keep clients up to date on progress. They will handle a variety of email traffic and draft correspondence, update the website when necessary, and deal with financial transactions and the mailing of information.

The PR & Event Manager will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and perform well under pressure. They will be confident, outgoing, professional, and well presented, a true relationship builder and self-starter with leadership qualities and the motivation to work either independently or as part of a team.
