Reputation Protection Lawyer (Greater London)

Reputation Protection Associate 3-5 PQE

MAP Legal are working with a highly ranked Legal 500 firm who due to growth require an associate to join their Reputation Protection team.

The firm advise and litigate on all aspects of media and communication law, for both claimants and defendants, including defamation, malicious falsehood, privacy, blackmail, harassment, reporting restrictions, and data protection breaches and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• 3-5 years PQE in media litigation / reputation protection
• a strong academic record and qualified with a leading law firm
• experience in pre-publication enquiries about personal/corporate affairs, including from media, NGOs regulators and other public bodies
• experience in online/social media attacks
• experience in blackmail and/or threats to release private or confidential information, or threats to publish damaging allegations
