CONSTRUCTION LAWYER – CONTENTIOUS – 3+ PQE
My clients are looking to appoint ambitious lawyers with 3+ years PQE who wish to advance their abilities in construction at a highly ranked law practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent clients in construction-related disputes, including contractual issues, delays, defects, and claims for breach of contract.
- Handle adjudications, arbitrations, and litigation from inception through to conclusion.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on risk management, contract negotiations, and dispute avoidance.
- Draft and review a wide range of construction contracts and related documents.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders in the construction industry.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, case law, and industry developments.
IDEAL CANDIDATES
- Qualified solicitor with at least 3+ years’ experience in contentious construction law.
- Proven track record in handling construction disputes, particularly in litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage high-pressure situations.
- Excellent analytical and drafting abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and other professionals in the industry..
