We are seeking part‑time Ecological Consultants to join our team. Working through and supported by our office in Peel, your role will be to conduct ecological field surveys such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, bat surveys and lizard surveys as part of our ecological consultancy business, Ecology Vannin.
MWT is the largest conservation charity in the Isle of Man. We are a team of passionate, environmentally minded, dynamic, and supportive people. Our ecological consultancy delivery is key toward our mission to protect and enhance our environment, create more spaces for wildlife and inspire people to act for nature. Our consultancy provides us with the opportunity to positively influence development work on the Island and generates income to support our wider conservation work. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Ecology Vannin.
We are seeking people with experience in ecology, wildlife, and/or conservation, and an ability to carry out ecological survey work competently. The ideal candidate will use initiative, work independently, but also be part of our team. These are zero‑hour flexible positions where we will offer work as/when required. Successful candidates have the option to agree on times they would be available.
