Manx BirdLife, Manx Wildlife Trust and the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture (DEFA) are seeking an ambitious, highly organised and collaborative individual to coordinate an exciting new programme of landscape-scale nature restoration across the Isle of Man.
Funded through the Endangered Landscapes & Seascapes Programme, Ushtaghyn glen - Faarkey follan (Clean Waters - Healthy Seas)will connect action across the Island’s uplands, river catchments, freshwater systems and marine environment.
Working with a wide range of partners, including Biosphere Isle of Man, Manx National Heritage, landowners, communities and other stakeholders, you will help build the partnerships, knowledge and practical solutions needed to establish a shared vision for long-term ecological restoration.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about nature recovery, partnership working and turning ambition into practical action. The successful candidate will play a central role in bringing people together, coordinating activity and helping lay the foundations for a more connected and resilient natural environment across the Isle of Man.
