As Commercial Director you will report to the Managing Director and assume responsibility for the sales cycle overseeing the sales team, managing the bid/tendering process, and ensuring the business is investing the right time and resources into the right commercial relations while managing contract risk.
The ideal candidate will have exposure to the defence or aerospace market, or a similar complex contract environment which will include working across multiple geographic regions. They will be equally comfortable in the detail around contract and risk, as well as the softer commercial elements of client relationship management and the sales cycle.
