Our client is part of an international group and sells electronic systems globally to the defence and aerospace markets. With a strong value proposition and state of the art design, they continue to take market share offering clients bespoke products and a customer centric approach.
As Commercial Director you will report to the Managing Director and assume responsibility for the sales cycle overseeing the sales team, managing the bid/tendering process, and ensuring the business is investing the right time and resources into the right commercial relations while managing contract risk.
The ideal candidate will have exposure to the defence or aerospace market, or a similar complex contract environment which will include working across multiple geographic regions. They will be equally comfortable in the detail around contract and risk, as well as the softer commercial elements of client relationship management and the sales cycle. In addition a can do mind set and a hands on attitude would be advantageous in this growing business.
