We're looking for a detail‑oriented, analytical Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As Quality Assurance Engineer you'll be responsible for ensuring that systems and processes meet defined quality standards and customer expectations. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and project management teams to identify issues, support continuous improvement, and help drive operational excellence across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all customer specific or MTC QMS requirements.
  • Work cross‑functionally with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in reviews of requirements, specifications, and design documents.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of documentation, including test strategies, reports, and technical guides.
  • Lead internal audits and participate in external audits.
  • Providing resolution to internal and external quality issues through effective root cause analysis and the development of action plans with relevant stakeholders.
  • Analysing relevant data and statistical reports, to identify any areas of weakness, recommending and implementing improvements.

Qualifications

  • We're looking for somebody with proven experience in a Quality Assurance role.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, as well as good working knowledge of Quality Management and the effective adoption of ISO 9001 or AS9100.
  • Auditing experience.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of customer journey and experience.
  • Quality planning and relevant standards e.g. AQAP.
  • Good numeracy skills: confident working with numbers and data.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Significant experience in an analogous role.
  • Degree level education.
  • A high degree of personal motivation.
