The Role
We are looking for an experienced Technology Manager / Resource Manager to lead our Data & Information Systems team. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical leadership with people and resource management, overseeing a team of 30 engineers and driving the delivery of advanced informatics projects across high‑value manufacturing sectors. You will play a key role in shaping the future of digital‑based manufacturing technologies at MTC, collaborating with industrial and academic partners, and influencing strategic growth in informatics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and line management for the Data & Information Systems team.
- Strategically deploy engineers across projects to maximise impact and efficiency.
- Identify training needs and create Personal Development Plans for team members.
- Drive growth of informatics capabilities and align technical roadmaps with future skills requirements.
- Lead technical delivery of projects, ensuring high‑quality outcomes on time and within budget.
- Represent MTC at conferences, technical forums, and stakeholder meetings.
