As a Night Support Worker you will help support homeless adults in our 24‑hour staffed city accommodation service. No experience needed – we provide full training. We value your attitude, personal qualities, transferable skills and willingness to join our hardworking and determined team.

Responsibilities

  • Control access to the building at night, patrol the premises, and carry out welfare checks on residents.
  • Manage house tasks including reporting, following through on maintenance and health and safety requirements.
  • Provide face‑to‑face and one‑to‑one informal support, dealing with a wide range of individual needs.
  • Respect the rights and responsibilities of Service Users.
  • Deliver a safe environment and meet legal obligations around health and safety and lone working.
  • Ensure that Service Users and tenancies are safe and secure.
  • Build skills and confidence of Service Users.
  • Handover to Manager and day staff every morning.
  • Understand and actively promote the organisation’s values (Respond/Respect/Empower).
