Framework Property Services is looking for a Compliance Officer to join our busy team and play a business‑critical role in ensuring all our properties are compliant, safe and well‑maintained. We are looking for a friendly and people‑focused individual with the knowledge and ability to prioritise the administration of a wide range of compliance activities. You will work closely with the Property Services Manager in crucial areas such as gas, electrical, water hygiene, fire and more. Good communication, computer skills, attention to detail, and a customer‑focused approach are essential. Experience in social housing and a basic understanding of this sector are desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer compliance documents for disciplines such as gas safety, electrical safety, water safety (Legionella), fire risk assessments, asbestos management, lifts.
  • Ensure documents are received within stated timeframes, processed accurately and checked thoroughly.
  • Liaise directly with suppliers and contractors to resolve queries and maintain compliance standards.
  • Manage data entry and monitoring using spreadsheets and/or bespoke systems.
  • Raise any works arising from certification or reports and conduct site visits to inspect works or inspections carried out.

About You

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience within a social housing setting.
  • Experience of working with tenants.
  • Knowledge of compliance legislation and our responsibilities within this law.
  • Experience in data analysis and document management.
  • Contractor management experience (training will be provided).
  • Ability to work in a busy office environment and handle multiple sources of information.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
