NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER – THE CRESCENT, NOTTINGHAM, PERMANENT, 37HRS, GRADE 2 NIGHTS, £25,141 FTE
The Crescent Recovery Service is a residential supported accommodation service based in Hyson Green. We support individuals who live with severe and enduring mental health issues. Please note, this is a waking nights role. Your shift pattern will be 4 nights on and 4 nights off.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the safe and effective operation of the service, responding to incidents, tensions, welfare concerns, and staffing issues, supporting colleagues and residents with calmness, respect, and professionalism.
- Act as Shift Lead.
- Provide support in line with the service\’s aims, including 1:1 support to meet immediate needs, facilitate access to services, and assist with independent living tasks.
- Organize group activities to promote social inclusion, develop independent living skills, reduce isolation, and support meaningful engagement.
- Manage risks using safety plans and de-escalation techniques appropriate to each situation.
- Collaborate with other agencies to ensure residents receive holistic support that promotes independence and recovery, sharing information in line with protocols and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all activities.
