An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership Substance Use Services as a Rough Sleeper Recovery Worker. Within the role, you will focus on working with those who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping in East Lindsey. The base for this role is at 30 Roman Bank, Skegness, PE25 2SG.
Starting salary £25,870 with annual pay progression up to £30,265 (dependent on experience you may be offered a salary above the initial starting salary). Role Responsibility
As a Rough Sleeper Recovery Worker, you will work flexibly across Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership supporting individuals who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping. You will see them whilst providing outreach and visiting housing providers and local charities, delivering brief interventions and engaging them in treatment. Day-to-day you will work alongside other Recovery Workers, Rough Sleeper Team Manager and Team Leader. The role also requires you to engage with partner agencies to provide outreach to clients and a multi-agency approach to client support.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a highly effective communicator, efficient and organised and have a real passion for supporting service users to engage in treatment. You must be engaging, enthusiastic and passionate. A driving licence and car access is essential, and you will be required to use your own car to travel between sites on a daily basis (expenses will be provided).
