About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing day-to-day care, guidance, structure, and emotional support to children and young people who may have experienced trauma, adversity, or disrupted attachments. No two days are ever the same. One day could involve supporting with education and life skills, and the next could be beach walks, gaming tournaments, cooking sessions, or helping a young person achieve a personal milestone.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people
- Building positive, trusting relationships and acting as a consistent role model
- Supporting with daily routines, education, appointments, and activities
- Encouraging independence, social development, and positive behaviours
