We are looking for a part-time hands-on Engineer / Engineering Supervisor to join our successful and growing factory team. This is a varied and interesting role and can be carried out on a permanent part-time basis with a minimum of 3/4 days a week and a flexible approach.
The Role
- Carry out various engineering tasks on a small but expanding dairy production plant
- Deliver both reactive and planned maintenance across production and site services
- Take ownership of engineering standards, processes, and performance
- Manage contractors, projects, and site engineering activities
- Ensure high standards of Health & Safety and compliance are met at all times
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a hands-on engineering role
- Ideally a background in dairy or liquid processing
- Strong mechanical and some basic PLC electrical fault-finding skills would be helpful
- Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments (FMCG preferred)
Working Hours
This is a day-based role; however, some flexibility will be required as the site operates 05:30 to 20:00, Monday to Friday and sometimes on a weekend.
