Customer Technical Administrator
Location: Ditcheat, Somerset (Site Based)
Salary: Β£28,000–£32,000 per annum

We're looking for a Customer Quality Technologist or Technical Administrator to join my clients Quality team at their Ditcheat site.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing, specifications, artwork or technical administration, or for a Food Science / Food Technology/ Nutrition graduate with some industry experience who is looking to develop a career in food quality.

The Role

  • Preparing and maintaining product specifications.
  • Managing artwork approvals.
  • Completing customer questionnaires and responding to quality queries.
  • Preparing QA documentation and maintaining quality records.
  • Carrying out packaging checks, hygiene inspections and internal audits.
  • Supporting compliance with food safety, quality and retailer standards.

About You

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience in a food manufacturing or technical environment is desirable, along with knowledge of specifications, artwork or retailer portals, although full training will be provided.
