Customer Technical Administrator
Location: Ditcheat, Somerset (Site Based)
Salary: Β£28,000βΒ£32,000 per annum
We're looking for a Customer Quality Technologist or Technical Administrator to join my clients Quality team at their Ditcheat site.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing, specifications, artwork or technical administration, or for a Food Science / Food Technology/ Nutrition graduate with some industry experience who is looking to develop a career in food quality.
The Role
- Preparing and maintaining product specifications.
- Managing artwork approvals.
- Completing customer questionnaires and responding to quality queries.
- Preparing QA documentation and maintaining quality records.
- Carrying out packaging checks, hygiene inspections and internal audits.
- Supporting compliance with food safety, quality and retailer standards.
About You
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing or technical environment is desirable, along with knowledge of specifications, artwork or retailer portals, although full training will be provided.
This is a site-based role offering an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and experienced Quality team.
