My client, a well-established and successful family-owned FMCG manufacturing business, is seeking to appoint a Manufacturing Administrator / Stock and Sales Administrator for their facility located on the outskirts of Yeovil, near Wincanton. Operating from contemporary premises, the appointed Administrator will play a pivotal role within the office team, providing technical and quality support, managing stock administration for production, and assisting the accounts department with sales administration. This position is particularly suited to candidates possessing prior experience in manufacturing administration who are keen to further develop their careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete, process, and file documentation related to Goods In, Goods Out, and stock control.
- Support comprehensive stock traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain accurate records using an ERP/MRP system.
- Assist with client sales, technical, and quality enquiries.
- Manage internal stock and facilitate physical stock checks.
- Provide general sales and office administrative support.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proficient in computer usage, preferably with experience in modern MRP systems, specifically Bills of Material.
- Previous background in manufacturing, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or packaging industries is preferred.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and communication abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for regular interaction with factory personnel and customers.
- Excellent organisational skills, both written and verbal, essential due to the high volume of products managed.
- Collaborative team player, adept at multitasking and willing to be hands-on.
