Overview
In this role you will lead Voy’s Government & Regulatory Affairs to shape policy, engage regulators and policymakers, and translate business priorities into actionable workstreams. You’ll build proactive relationships with bodies like MHRA, GPhC, CQC, ASA/CAP, and with DHSC and Parliament to advance Voy’s position in digital healthcare. You’ll convert evidence into persuasive policy positions and drive tangible, measurable outcomes. This high-visibility role offers the chance to influence regulation and partner with NHS stakeholders to enable scalable healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and own Voy’s Government & Regulatory Affairs strategy with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
- Develop trusted relationships with regulators (MHRA, GPhC, CQC, ASA/CAP) to pre-emptively align Voy with regulatory expectations
- Engage Government and Parliament including DHSC, APPGs, advisers, think tanks and health policy stakeholders
- Lead NHS engagement with internal teams to identify opportunities in obesity, prevention and digital healthcare
- Identify and participate in consultations, calls for evidence, regulatory initiatives, roundtables and policy forums
- Contribute to CoRDH to influence policy and raise regulatory standards in digital healthcare
- Turn clinical, quality and risk, and research evidence into persuasive policy positions and submissions
- Drive impact by removing barriers, building credibility, and turning ideas into tangible change
Key requirements
- Experienced Government Affairs, Public Affairs, health policy or regulatory affairs professional
- Healthcare, life sciences, digital health or other highly regulated sector experience
- Dynamic, proactive, able to create plans and execute without waiting for briefs
- Exceptional relationship builder with senior policymakers, regulators, and NHS leaders
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving policy/ regulation environments
- Disruptor for good who can challenge established thinking responsibly
- Strategic yet hands-on, able to draft consultations and executive briefings
- Excellent writer and communicator turning complex issues into clear asks
