We are looking to hire a Clinical Advisor for Long-Term Weight Management to provide proactive care by supporting patients through behaviour change and long-term health goals. You will have a high level of clinical autonomy, ownership, and accountability and will report to the Clinical Team Lead. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while making confident clinical decisions and managing proactive care in order to support patients achieve sustainable health goals. Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality phone and video consultations for patients who have completed acute weight loss treatment
- Provide clinical input into maintenance dosing strategies
- Support patients in transitioning from weight loss to sustainable lifestyle and metabolic health management
- Identify high-risk patients using clinical indicators, engagement data, and treatment response
- Proactively reach out to patients at risk of weight regain, disengagement, or adverse outcomes
- Deliver timely, preventative interventions to reduce escalation and improve adherence
- Assess patients who report reduced treatment effectiveness or plateauing outcomes
- Use coaching, motivational interviewing, and personalised treatment planning to optimise results
- Escalate appropriately where clinical concerns arise, ensuring patient safety remains paramount
- Apply evidence-based practice to all patient interactions
- Maintain high clinical standards while working efficiently within service level expectations
- Accurately document assessments, decisions, and treatment plans within digital systems
What We Need From You
- Current registration as a UK healthcare professional (NMC, GPhC, HCPC or equivalent)
- 3β5 years post-registration experience in patient-facing roles
- Strong triage, primary care, or patient assessment experience, with confidence working autonomously
- Competence and confidence conducting video and phone consultations
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of remote patient interactions without compromising care quality
- Strong digital literacy and comfort using remote healthcare platforms
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centred, coaching-based approach
- Previous experience in telemedicine or digital health environments
- Experience working to KPIs, SLAs, or performance targets in a clinical setting
Desirable
- Independent prescribing qualification
- Demonstrated interest in preventative healthcare and long-term condition management
- Knowledge or experience in weight management, metabolic health, or GLP-1 therapies
