We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our growing People Operations team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple geographies.
What you’ll do:
- Own end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Maintain and update employee records in Rippling, including compensation changes, benefits, and deductions.
- Partner with Finance, People Ops, and external providers to resolve payroll discrepancies, tax issues, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Support audits, reporting, and reconciliation processes related to payroll.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll operations, automation, and employee experience.
- Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees, providing timely and clear support.
What we need from you:
- 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience, with exposure to multiple countries and currencies.
- Experience using Rippling (must-have).
- Strong knowledge of global payroll compliance, tax, and reporting requirements.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, startup or scale-up environment with shifting priorities.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and explain payroll matters clearly.
- Strong sense of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
