The opportunityWe are looking to hire a Consultant Psychiatrist on a contractor basis to work autonomously within an ADHD service, delivering a clinical supervision and advisory role primarily, with scope to conduct ADHD diagnosis and treatment consultations also.You will be working closely with women’s health specialists to innovate in the emerging field of ADHD in women and how ADHD interacts with hormonal health. You will have a high level of accountability and autonomy, and will report to the Clinical Team Lead. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to challenge themselves in a fast-paced environment, directly contributing to patient care in order to meet key clinical goals.If you like providing high-quality, innovative patient care, this role is for you!What you’ll be doingProvide peer support and case review for other ADHD assessors and prescribersCollaborate closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure integrated, high-quality patient careConduct ADHD assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing reviewsDevelop and manage personalised care plans (pharmacological & non-pharmacological)Prescribe, titrate, and monitor ADHD medication in line with national guidelines and Voy’s local guidelinesMaintain accurate clinical documentation and report patient safety incidents in accordance with governance standardsPlease note that this role is on a fully remote contractor basis within the UK.What we need from youConsultant psychiatrist (MRCPsych) fully registered with the GMCExperience in adult ADHD assessment and treatmentStrong clinical assessment, prescribing, and report writing skillsExperience with telemedicine or in digital health / conducting remote consultationsExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and manage a caseload Committed to CPD and evidence-based practiceExperience working in women’s health would be advantageousOur interview processInitial screening call with Clinical RecruiterFirst interview with Head of Clinical Services and Clinical LeadFinal stage with Clinical Director
