MANUAL (Voy) , a rapidly scaling health-tech business operating across weight management, hormonal health, and hair loss in the UK, Brazil, and Germany, is seeking an exceptional Legal Counsel, Litigation & Regulatory to own litigation, regulatory, and employment matters within their lean legal team in London, UK.

Key Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction).
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant contentious and/or regulatory experience.
  • Hands-on experience advising on life sciences regulation, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical devices.
  • Strong employment law capability with in-house or leading firm exposure.
  • Pragmatic, commercially minded, and comfortable using technology/AI for legal solutions at scale.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • Own end-to-end dispute strategy, managing pre-action correspondence, litigation, negotiation, settlement, and external counsel costs.
  • Lead responses to regulatory investigations, enforcement activity, and compliance requests.
  • Advise on regulations concerning medicinal products and medical devices (import requests, MA licensing, pharmacovigilance, promotional reviews).
  • Provide practical employment law advice spanning contracts, policies, exits, restructures, ACAS early conciliation, and Employment Tribunal matters.
  • Develop dispute playbooks, escalation pathways, and e-discovery readiness to build organizational resilience.
