Position Overview

The Therapy Intern Program offers aspiring mental health professionals an opportunity to gain supervised practical experience while contributing to impactful community mental health initiatives. Interns will develop essential therapeutic skills, engage in outreach work, and support mental health advocacy under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervised Client Interaction: Engage in guidance counseling sessions under supervision. Participate in case discussions and receive feedback from senior professionals.
  • Community Mental Health Work: Support mental health hotlines. Participate in campus outreach and awareness drives. Contribute to community-focused mental health initiatives.
  • Corporate EAP Exposure: Assist in conducting webinars, onboarding sessions, and corporate workshops. Gain understanding of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) structure and operations.
  • Skill Development: Build competencies in counseling, crisis intervention, communication, ethics, and rapport building. Participate in structured training, learning modules, and reflection sessions.
