Multi Skilled Tutor (Employability) – £26,000 per annum

We are Mantra Learning, the UK\’s leading Logistics learning and development organisation. We are an Ofsted grade 2 independent training provider with over 56 years of experience in the sector. Our Manchester site is the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK.

Through our brands, The Job Gym and The National Logistics Academy, we help thousands of individuals each year to gain new skills, enabling them to secure employment within the logistics sector and supporting the industry’s growth.

We collaborate with major brands such as Aldi, Wincanton, and AO, delivering approximately 400 Apprenticeships, over 2,500 Large Goods Vehicle licenses, and 1,100 Forklift Truck licenses annually. Our mission is to develop skills, knowledge, and behaviors that help learners thrive in life and work.

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Tutor to join our friendly team. This full-time position is based in Middleton, Greater Manchester, working 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility is occasionally required to support after-hours delivery.

Role

The Multi Skilled Tutor will work within the Employability/Job Gym Department, delivering course qualifications, creating learning plans, and tracking learner progress. You will motivate groups of learners both at our Middleton site and online.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Adhering to all awarding body standards and compliance requirements set by SFA and Ofsted.
2. Providing learner support through face-to-face or virtual delivery.
3. Offering information, advice, and guidance regarding course suitability and establishing learning goals tailored to individual needs.
4. Inducting learners into the learning environment, courses, and systems.
5. Creating, assigning, and marking work-related tasks to facilitate learner progression.
6. Sharing sector-specific knowledge and experience with learners.
7. Collaborating with line managers and departments to develop employability programmes.
8. Embracing change positively and understanding sector challenges.
9. Monitoring attendance and performance, and reporting effectively to management.
10. Addressing learner requirements promptly and efficiently.
11. Promoting Functional Skills learning as a valued activity for employers and learners.
12. Promoting safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values within sessions.
13. Ensuring safe working practices and safeguarding in line with current legislation and policies.

Essential Requirements

Prior experience in delivering Employability and at least two of the following subjects:

• Customer Service
• Wellbeing
• CSCS
• Warehouse
• Cleaning

Skills & Qualifications:

• Microsoft Teams and ICT proficiency (Essential)
• Functional Skills Level 2 or above (Essential)
• PTLLS / CTLLS qualification (Essential)
• Assessor Award Level 3 (Essential)
• Information, Advice, and Guidance Level 3 or above (Desirable)
