About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Lead (Clinical Psychologist) with specialist knowledge of neurodevelopmental assessments to lead our multi-disciplinary team within our Hull clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for the running of our Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service for Children & Young People, providing clinical oversight, and ensuring the highest quality is upheld throughout the assessment process and within the written reports.

Main Responsibilities include:
- Clinical overview of all the current assessment cases in clinic
- Conducting parts of the assessment process
- Leading multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss the information gathered through the assessment and the agreed clinical outcome and next steps
- Review the current case load of reports, ensuring that clinical outcomes and relevant information is provided, and quality is upheld
- Liaising with relevant members of the assessment team about current caseload
- Escalating issues and working with the Clinical Director and Service Manager to resolve them
- Liaising and reporting to our client on any clinical issues and providing regular updates on clients
- Identifying issues in the operational or clinical process / report writing process and providing feedback to team members
About You
The most important thing is that you will be self-starting and dynamic, always looking for opportunities to learn and improve. The role will require you to hit the ground running, as we mobilise our Hull clinic.
Qualifications & Experience
- HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist with specialist training in Neurodevelopmental Conditions and diagnostic assessments
- Formal training in assessment tools for Autism, ADHD & Cognitive (e.g ADOS, QB, ACE, DIVA)
- Knowledge and understanding of the DSM-5 criteria
- Experience in conducting diagnostic Neurodevelopmental Assessments with children
- Experience working with children and or adults with neurodevelopmental conditions & mental health difficulties in a clinical setting

- Experience in neurodevelopmental assessments and experience in report writing and clinical record keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
