As our Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects while helping drive our shared vision of meeting the UK’s 2050 Net Zero Carbon Targets for Buildings.

As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will become an integral part of a friendly and dynamic consultancy based in the heart of Wilmslow town centre and will play an important role in supporting the continued growth of the business.

The role will primarily focus on delivering electrical building services design within our Building Services Team.

This role is about ownership: leading electrical building services design, providing technical oversight, working closely with clients and project teams, and supporting the successful delivery of projects across domestic, commercial and public sector buildings.

Typically, your projects will cover: Heating Systems Design, Hot & Cold Water Design, Ventilation and Heat Recovery Systems Design, Above Ground Drainage Systems Design, HVAC Systems Design, HVAC Control systems, Air conditioning & Cooling Systems Design, Mechanical Plant Room Design and Air Source and Ground Source Systems Design.

  • Providing Electrical Services Design to Low Energy Buildings (Domestic, Commercial and Public Building Sectors)
  • Leading Electrical Building Services Design projects through all RIBA stages 1-6
  • Supporting the Building Services Design process (RIBA 1-4) and services team
  • Supporting the construction process (RIBA 5-6) and project management teams
  • Supporting Low Energy Building Design (RIBA 1-4) and technical teams
  • Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, and technical reports.
  • Providing subject matter expert knowledge on Electrical Engineering Design
  • Acting as a mentor for Junior Electrical Engineers
  • Small Power and Data System Design
