As our Retrofit Co-Ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of domestic construction projects while helping drive our shared vision of meeting the UKβs 2050 Net Zero Carbon Targets for Buildings.
As Retrofit Co-Ordinator, you will become an integral part of a friendly and dynamic design & build contractor based in the heart of Wilmslow town centre and will play an important role in supporting the continued growth of the business.
The role will primarily focus on managing the delivery of domestic construction and retrofit projects of existing buildings. Whole house retrofit, extensions, loft conversions and commercial to residential conversions.
Working under the direction of our Domestic Retrofit Project Manager, the Retrofit Coordinator assists with the end-to-end delivery of PAS 2030 compliant retrofit projects. You will help coordinate the retrofit process from initial assessment through design, installation and handover. The role ensures that projects are delivered on time, to standard, fully documented and compliant with PAS 2035/PAS 2030, TrustMark and relevant funding scheme requirement
Typically, your projects will involve the retrofit of domestic properties across social housing portfolios, private rented sector homes and owner-occupied properties. Measures may include structural works, fabric improvements, low-carbon heating systems, ventilation systems and renewable technologies delivered under a whole-house retrofit approach. We anticipate that you will take great pride in the quality of your work and all associated project deliverables.

- Total Compensation Package up to £55,000
- Base Salary £40,000 to £47,500 (Depending on Experience)

THE ROLE:
- Assisting with the delivery of domestic retrofit projects in line with PAS 2035 requirements
- Supporting the production and review of retrofit documentation, including risk assessments, PAS 2035 risk pathway allocation, improvement option evaluations, medium-term improvement plans, retrofit designs and handover packs.
- Coordinating works between Retrofit Assessors, Retrofit Designers, installers and Retrofit Evaluators, ensuring each stage is completed by suitably qualified people and in the correct sequence.
- Help ensure all measures are installed to PAS 2030 requirements and that the correct guidance, ventilation and interacting measures are considered for each property.
- Act as a point of contact for householders β explaining the retrofit process, managing expectations, arranging access and responding to queries in a professional manner.
- Liaise with installers, subcontractors and suppliers to confirm scope, resolve on-site issues and keep projects moving to programme.
- Monitor project progress against timescales and budgets, flag risks or delays to the Domestic Retrofit Project Manager and help maintain accurate project trackers and reports.
- Maintaining accurate records to ensure audit and compliance readiness
- Supporting grant and funding compliance requirements
- Support in the management of snagging, defects and post-installation issues
- Support the domestic retrofit PM in ensuring health & safety compliance across domestic sites
- Preparing project progress, cost, quality and compliance reports

As well as experience or understanding of core construction trades, including:
- Bricklaying
- Insulation
- Ventilation
- Joinery
- Steelwork
- Groundwork
- Roofing
- Plastering
- Kitchen installations
- Bathroom installations
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED:
- Proven experience supporting delivery of domestic retrofit or energy efficiency projects
- Strong working knowledge of PAS 2035 requirements
- Experience managing project costs, budgets and delivery programmes
- Demonstrable experience managing quality assurance within retrofit or construction projects
- Experience working with PAS 2030-certified installers
- Familiarity with MCS-certified technologies
- Experience working in occupied domestic properties
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and audit readiness
- Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
Desirable:
- Retrofit related qualification or coordinator exposure
- Experience delivering government funded retrofit schemes
- Understanding of domestic building fabric and ventilation strategies
