We are looking for a Workshop Engineer to join our dedicated service and maintenance team. This vital role ensures that our plant and equipment are maintained to the highest standards—maximising uptime, supporting safe operations, and delivering a best-in-class experience to our customers. Plant or agricultural experience would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment within the yard. This is primarily in our main depot in Rushden, however occasional travel will be required.
  • Take ownership of the quality of equipment leaving the yard, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
  • Maintain yard plant and oversee stock control—advising on parts requirements.
  • Support the loading/unloading and safe storage of tower cranes.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong background in mechanical or electrical maintenance, ideally with heavy plant or construction/agriculture equipment.
  • Hands-on problem solver with a “right-first-time” mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support internal teams.
  • Highly organised with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Ability to work independently in a yard-based environment, with flexibility to attend site when needed.
