Job Description

Job Title: Regional Technical Sales Manager

Location: South of England

Position Overview:

The Regional Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth by combining a strong technical understanding with exceptional customer relationship-building skills. They will work closely with clients and prospects to generate new business, manage existing relationships, and contribute to the company’s overall sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.

• Prospect and identify new business opportunities and generate leads to grow the customer base.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

• Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure smooth handovers to the operations team.

• Carry out Site Surveys.

• Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of sales experience, ideally within a Construction/Plant-related sector (not essential, but highly preferred). We also welcome applicants from the Construction/Plant sector who are interested in transitioning into sales.

• You should have the ability to build and maintain long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with existing and prospective customers.

• You are self-motivated, have energy and passion to find a solution as well as the ability to prioritise within small team.

• Effective communication and negotiation skills, along with strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Target driven to align with company’s revenue and margin targets

• Be an outwardly straightforward individual, who can demonstrate that they are highly organised with strong administrative skills and have a proven track record of accomplishment in their career to date

• Ability to interpret site drawings is an advantage

• A degree of IT literacy is required

• Full driving licence essential

• Travel throughout a large territory
