The Fabrication department within Manthorpe Engineering are recruiting for time served Platers in a full time vacancy. Our Fabrications Team produce bespoke fabrications for the nuclear, sub-sea, aero, MOD, and process industries in a wide range of materials and thicknesses in our purpose built fabrication shop.

The ideal candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and be able to read and understand complex engineering drawings. The role will entail marking out and cutting material, producing weld preps where required, drilling and tack welding into complete assemblies.

The basic hours are 0730-1630 Monday to Thursday and 0730 to 1230 on a Friday. The candidate shall be willing to work overtime as and when required (all overtime paid at 1.5x). The candidate may occasionally be required to work on a customer site. The vacancy is a permanent position. Agency workers will not be considered.
