Mantell Associates are seeking a talented and results-driven Continuous Improvement (CI) Consultant to join an ever-growing Clinical specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within life science organizations, ensuring a focus on quality and operational excellence.
- Develop and execute process improvement strategies aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing waste in critical business operations.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and training sessions to drive CI principles and methodologies across teams.
- Analyze data and operational processes to identify key areas for improvement and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to set clear performance metrics and track the progress of CI projects.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to internal teams and stakeholders on Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations such as FDA, EMA, or GMP standards, and the ability to ensure that CI initiatives align with compliance requirements in the life sciences sector.
- Demonstrated experience in applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes in highly regulated settings, with a proven track record of delivering measurable efficiency gains and cost savings.
- Expertise in data analysis and statistical tools, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive improvements in operational performance and patient outcomes.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the value chain.
- Proven experience managing and executing CI projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with life sciences industry standards.
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in CI initiatives, particularly those related to product quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining a focus on improving efficiency and reducing waste.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field: Such as Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Lean Six Sigma certification: Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
