Hours of work: Perrys are committed to working with our employees for a focus on a good work life balance. This is a part time role, working 25 hours per week 9:30am to 3:00pm with 30 minutes lunch.
Joining us as an Accounts Assistant means you will be working closely with the rest of the accounts team. It is crucial that you demonstrate our People First values through regular communication, going the extra mile, and ensuring the customer’s experience at Perrys is as smooth as possible.
About the role: We have an exciting opportunity available for an individual within our regional accounts office. The duties of the role will include:
- Processing manual payment requests, ensuring they are fully supported and completing the setup of the payment on the online banking system;
- Raising vehicle taxation cheques and posting onto the ledger;
- Processing purchase ledger invoices;
- Providing confirmation of customer receipts received into the bank to the sales departments;
- Assisting with daily banking duties during holiday periods;
- Any ad hoc duties when required.
About you: You will be an organised and proactive individual, with excellent attention to detail, and able to work to tight deadlines. You will have good communication skills with the ability to listen to our customers' needs and take pride in engaging with people and with a passion for delivering outstanding service. Care passionately and commit to doing the right thing for our customers, treating them fairly. Previous account experience is preferred.
