Working in local government is a rewarding experience and in return for the contribution you will make to your local community. We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our Public Space team. You will work primarily in Mansfield Town Centre and be responsible for:
- Setting up and dismantling market stalls
- Cash collection / counting
- Operating car parks
- Cleaning of public toilets
- Collecting waste
- Cutting back vegetation
- Sweeping
- Litter picking
- Gritting
- Snow clearance
- Providing support for events
The successful candidate will need to be prepared to work outdoors in all weathers, be physically fit, able to work at pace and be flexible in their duties and hours. Applicants must have a Cat B+E driving licence. Working pattern is a rolling 6-week rota, working hours 6.30 am to 7.00 pm Monday to Saturdays + 13 prime days per year (Sunday / Bank Holidays 10 hour shifts).
